Accessibility Statement
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard, or viewing at a large text size. This statement sets out where we stand honestly — including what still needs work.
Last updated: 27 September 2026.
What we have tested
We checked the site’s pages, and the shipment booking form in particular, against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. This was an automated and manual check by our development team, not a formal third-party audit, and we would not want to overstate it.
What passes
- Every image carries alternative text, and decorative images are correctly marked as such so screen readers skip them.
- Every form field has a visible, properly associated label. Related fields are grouped with a heading, so a screen reader announces which section you are in.
- Body text meets the 4.5:1 contrast minimum. We found and fixed three places on the booking form where grey help text fell below it.
- There is a “skip to content” link, and the page uses proper landmarks for navigation, main content and footer.
- Headings run in order without skipped levels.
- Fields that ask for your own name, phone, email and address declare their purpose, so browsers and assistive tools can fill them in for you. Fields asking for someone else’s details deliberately do not, to avoid autofilling the wrong person.
- The site works at phone width without side-to-side scrolling, and form fields are sized so mobile browsers do not zoom unexpectedly when you tap them.
Known issues we have not fixed yet
- The site’s declared language is set to English (South Africa) rather than English (United Kingdom). A screen reader may use the wrong pronunciation rules. We are correcting this.
- Some pages have more than one top-level heading. This is valid HTML but makes navigating by heading less predictable.
- Some fonts load from a third party, which may briefly delay text appearing on a slow connection.
- We have not yet carried out a full audit with real assistive-technology users, which is the only way to find some problems.
